Sally Capp took donations totalling $332,000 in her campaign to win Melbourne's lord mayoralty - with tens of thousands of dollars coming from individuals and companies tied to property development, construction and real estate. Cr Capp vowed repeatedly not to take money from developers throughout her successful campaign to replace former lord mayor Robert Doyle.
